There are few words needed to describe what this guitar has meant to music history. We will try anyway. A real, perfectly worn in 1953 Fender Tele is a sight to behold and a joy to play. This guitar has the most obvious upgrade/mod that one could hope for without needing to do themselves. Let's thank whoever long ago took the plunge and added a real, 100% PAF humbucker to the neck position. It adds a lot to this guitar, but does not take away from the Tele twang gotten from the bridge pickup. This guitar is everything you'd hope it would be, and a true keeper to whichever new home it finds.
This example has replaced tuners, a refret, replaced volume pot, high E tuner post hole has been redrilled and the original switch tip/volume pot and neck pickup are included in the case. Serial #5723, comes with the original case.
