Right smack dab in the middle of the LG lineup, the Gibson LG-2 is famous for its all solid design matched with its X-bracing. The sunburst finish is classic Gibson and this particular example looks stellar with a very interesting original Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. This guitar has a 'baseball bat' neck, with no real taper that starts big and stays big all up the neck. With that said it is a joy to play and perhaps the loudest LG-2 we have ever had. This guitar is not to be missed and with a neck reset and some overspray to the back of the neck it is in great condition for a guitar of its age. As is typical of mid to late '40s LG-2s, there is no serial number but the specs place it as a 46-47 year, includes a non original case.
