Made famous by a well-known British band from the 60's, the J-160E is a great model in its own right. More of a hybrid acoustic-electric, this Gibson model featured a laminate top with ladder bracing, with a modified P-90 so it would fit in the space between the fingerboard and soundhole. It has a very mid-heavy sound unplugged and a woody, almost electric sound plugged in. This example has a replaced nut, tuners, knobs, refret, bridge reglue and neck reset. A back crack was repaired and is stable. Serial #V5856-34, comes with the original case.
