The Gibson Heritage guitar, a model from Gibson's Norlin era, is a great player and often overlooked in acoustic history. The twelve string version, only produced for a few years in the late 60's, stands as a interesting part of Gibson's lineup. With a tailpiece, 25 1/2" scale, it seems to be a mix of a bunch of different ideas from other models. The Heritage featured a solid Sitka spruce top with laminate Indianrosewood back and sides. Its in great shape with the most wear shown in the provided photos. No major cracks or repairs. This example has a replaced addle and tailpiece as well is a Barcus Berry pickup installed. Serial #835903, comes with the original case.
