One of the best modern era archtops to come through in recent memory, this L-4CES guitar is everything you'd expect from a Gibson. Always made in small numbers, the L-4CES is made even more special by being a more rare natural finish, showing off the high quality carved spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. It is all original and in excellent condition, with no major cracks or repairs besides extremely light play wear although this is minimal. It sounds amazing with a perfect blend of L-5 and ES-175 specs for a player looking for a little of both in a single piece. Signed by James D. Culberson, who oversaw the archtop division after James Hutchins at the Gibson Custom Shop. Serial #10125001, no paperwork included, comes with the original case.
