Rudy met Irvin Guitars owner and luthier, Wayne Irvin Johnson, at the Artisan Guitar Show in 2024 and was instantly drawn to his work. Having seen and played countless guitars in his 45 years in the business, Rudy was inspired by the unique shape and design of these instruments, which do not disappoint in terms of build-quality and tone. Based in Washington state, Johnson studied Luthiery primarily with master builder Sergei De Jonge. He was also strongly influenced by James Olson, best known for building James Taylor's guitars.

One of 4 models offered by Irvin Guitars, the Irvin Signature Parlor is a 12-fret to the body, small-bodied guitar. An incredibly comfortable guitar to play, designed for tremendous clarity on every note up and down the entire fretboard. Lots of volume and beautiful sustain. Comes with custom Ameritage hardshell case with embroidered Irvin logo.

This guitar was built with a Sitka spruce top, and gorgeous quilted maple for the back and sides. Beautiful flamed koa inlays on the back and sides.
