This is a pristine 1966/1967 Fender Mustang in original Dakota Red finish. The nut has been replaced, but other than that this guitar is all-original. Perfect for beginners and professionals alike, the signature offset alder body, 24" scale length maple neck w/ rosewood fingerboard, and dual single-coil pickups effortlessly evoke the '60s vibe of its day. Set up by our techs in Scarsdale.
-Non-original tremolo arm
-Although the neck stamp and serial point to 1966, the bridge pickup is pencil dated "3-20-67" so the guitar left the factory in 1967.
-This guitar is unusual in having a mix of grey and black bottom pickups. All the solder joints are original, so it must have left the factory this way. It's likely they found extra black bobbins after the transition to grey and used them up.
Weight: 7.25 lbs.
