In 1994, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Stratocaster, Fender released a number of models celebrating the invention of one of the most influential instruments ever designed, one of them being the normal production model series of Strats, of which this is one. These are essentially standard series Strats emblazoned with a 40th Anniversary badge and a neck plate that reads "1994 Fender STRATOCASTER ...40 years and still rockin!"
These guitars have the normal alder bodies, maple necks with rosewood fingerboards, and Grover style Fender tuners, along with a two point tremolo with six saddles. Great looking black nitro finish.
This guitar is in great condition, having been cleaned and setup by our techs in Scarsdale. There are only a couple noticeable dings on the body, mostly around the edges, but there are the usual body scratches after being around the block for almost 30 years. The frets are plenty high with only moderate pitting. Serial #N3106127 comes with a non original hardshell case.
