The Gibson Advanced Jumbo (AJ) is one of the rarer guitars from the pre-war era of Gibson's production, with the standard Slope Shoulder design being accompanied not by Mahogany as per usual, but by the crystal clear sounds of Brazilian Rosewood.
Gibson, in 1994, reissued a set of 100 masterbuilt guitars for each popular model in their history, each handcrafted to the best of their ability, with the best possible materials. This guitar is no different, with an Adirondack spruce top, Brazilan Rosewood back, sides, and bridge/fingerboard, and historical correct appointments.
This guitar is in good condition, with only a few cracks in the finish around the neck joint, and the occasional mark or flake, but the whole guitar has been inspected by our techs and has passed with flying colors.
If you're looking for a piece of Gibson history, this guitar is right for you.
