The Les Paul Tribute series has stayed relatively the same throughout its 20 year or so run, but many Gibson fans consider the stretch between the mid 2000s and the mid 2010's to be the best of the bunch, with this 2016 Les Paul 60's Tribute being particularly exemplary of that reputation. This guitar is great.
With a one piece mahogany, C shaped, slimmer profile neck, it's incredibly playable and has a more modern feel that still evokes the heritage it's representing. The body is chambered, with the usual mahogany and maple pairing being accented by a gorgeous honeyburst finish in satin. The P90s are loud and present, but still have plenty of body and have a pleasant roundness to them similar to 50's Gibson P90's.
This guitar is in essentially new condition condition, almost cleaner than a lot of new guitars at a glance. Even the chrome hardware looks spotless. Definitely a great find. Serial #160008668 comes with the original gig bag.
