For early '60s Fenders, the Jazzmaster was only 3 years into production, being the third professional model released. The original slab board rosewood neck adds a lot to the sound, and a great quality refin makes this example a great players grade example. The pickguard could not be removed by our techs because of way the bridge posts were reinstalled. The pickguard is original and the pickups are also believed to be original however we cannot confirm on the electronics/wiring harness or pickups dates. Serial #61912, comes with the original case.
