Martin 1949 0-18
For a post-war Martin, this 0-18 is a great showing of a smaller bodied acoustic. It has a wonderful sound that has become quite popular again for songwriters and recording. They play best with a gentler touch and can be a source of inspiration for any guitarist. This particular example is in great shape with a nice worn-in look to the original finish. It sounds larger than you'd expect from a guitar of this size, with a perfectly mellowed out tone from years of aging on this spruce/mahogany pairing. With a nice slight V neck profile and a 1 11/16: nut width, players will feel right at home with this guitar.
This example has previously had a neck reset, replaced bridge plate, reglued bridge, refret and has top/back cracks previously repaired. Serial #109657, comes with a non original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
