A post-war Martin that has had a life, this '49 000-18 has certainly seen some interesting times. A lot of upkeep and a few repairs make it a nice player acoustic, for those not looking for the cleanest Martin but one with a story. This 000-size model is a lovely pairing of spruce/mahogany in a compact short scale design. It sounds great and has a clean bill of health from our techs.
This example has had the bridge reglued, with a replaced saddle and new bridge pins. It has a new nut, has had a refret, neck reset and a large crack repair on the treble side lower bout. A K&K pickup was added at some point in its history. Serial #110605, comes with a non original '70s Martin case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition.
