One of the first D-35's, this '66 year Martin is as great a player as it is a work of art to look at. As Brazlian rosewood was being slowly fazed out by guitar manufacturers, the D-35 was an ingenius way to use the remaining tonewood. This 3-piece back of Brazilian rosewood looks beautiful, and the overall sound is loud and complex. Structurally it is in great condition with some normal wear to the neck and body but no major cracks or repairs.
This example has had the bridge reglued and a replaced bridge plate. It has a soft v neck profile that measures .850"/1st and .929"/12th. Serial #208117, comes with the original case.
