Joe Veillette, Woodstock, NY based builder, has had a long and industrious career building everything from harp guitars to mini 12-Strings. Early on in his career, he partnered with luthier and repairman Harvey Citron to make a series of hand built electric guitars, with a number of different configurations and designs.

This particular guitar has an all maple construction, with a neck through design, with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The blazing, roaring pickups are a glorious earlty set of DiMarzio Super Distortions, featuring a no longer functioning coil split, and a phase switch for the middle position. Vintage grover tuners to top it off. The bridge is a US spec bridge, but has been drilled to fit metric style posts.

This guitar has been amateurishly refinished sometime in the past, but it doesn't change how incredibly playable this guitar is. Definitely a rare find.

Serial #252 comes with the original hard shell case.
